# Activate your writer account

To activate your t2 account, you will need:

* An invitation link from t2.
* The MetaMask browser extension.

Once you receive your invitation from t2, simply click the link in the email. You will be led to a page that will ask you to connect your wallet to continue.

Sign into your MetaMask wallet from your browser extension, select **Connect**, and sign. You can now begin exploring the t2 network.

Make sure the wallet you use to log in is the same wallet you connect to the activation code.
